Created whilst part of an Artist-in-Residence relationship with Metal in Peterborough, following a Metal Culture LAB, curated and hosted by Sud Basu in Liverpool - and now launched as part of Estuary 2021 from Metal in Southend.
Humorous, angry, compassionate, tender, queer and political, these drawings make vivid, engaged, intersectional commentaries on the pandemic and the wider connections, ramifications and resonances that it has had across the world.
The launch of the book is accompanied by an online event, including live readings from Rachael and six other artists who have been making sequential art during the C-19 pandemic.
